REFUND POLICY

If for any reason an item is not what you expected or you’ve simply changed your mind it can be returned for a credit note (valid for 12 months) for the value of the item. Any free shipping cost will be deducted and return shipping costs will be borne by the purchaser.

Please note that an item will only be accepted for exchange or credit note if it meets the following conditions:

  • The item is unused and is still in original condition, unopened with original packaging intact.

  • A copy of a valid receipt is included with the return

  • The item is returned within 14 days of the receipt date

  • You have received a Return Authority by emailing us at info@trainmania.co.nz

Please Note: We do not accept exchanges or returns on orders shipped outside of New Zealand if you wish to exchange your product.

FAULTY & DAMAGED GOODS

In the event that you receive an item that is faulty, please contact us at info@trainmania.co.nz or and or call us on +64 22 605 5415 and arrangements may be made for refund or exchange.

The Purchaser will be responsible for the shipping and handling of any faulty or damaged item(s).

 

Please note: Our locomotive specialist, personally restores and inspects every item we distribute. Unless stated otherwise. We will never advertise a product for sale unless it passes our meticulous quality control.

GENERAL DELIVERY INFORMATION:

TrainMania normally uses New Zealand Post Regular and Express Services for online orders. On occasion, we may use a courier service such as DHL. Getting your goods to you safely and in mint condition is one of our most important rules. To ensure the secure delivery of orders to the correct recipients our carriers all require someone to sign for the consignments at the final destination.

DELIVERY COSTS AND TIMES:

Delivery charges and ETA depend on your location, how much you have purchased, and, what freight method you have selected. As a general rule, we aim for a 2-3 day turnaround from the moment your order has been received to the order being shipped from our store. Delivery times are only estimates. International orders may take up to 30 days to arrive depending on the destination.

INCORRECT DELIVERY INFO/DETAILS:

TrainMania is not accountable for incorrect delivery/contact information entered in by the user at checkout. Please check your details are correct before submitting your order.
If you have entered your details incorrectly when you checked out, please contact us via Email, Phone or direct message
 IMMEDIATELY.

At TrainMania, we are very efficient with processing orders (meaning your order may already be packed and sorted) so speedy notification is required to allow for immediate intervention in order to change your details.

 

SHIPPING WITHIN New Zealand:

We use New Zealand Post to ship our products. Everything sent within New Zealand will be sent via New Zealand post with tracked & signed courier.
 

SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF New Zealand


NOTE: Dangerous goods can not be shipped internationally.

If all shipping charges are confirmed by you (the customer) then the outstanding costs must be paid for, then the products will be shipped through to you.

All international shipping by default does not come with insurance. If you would like to insure your product, please contact us beforehand.

International Orders can still be cancelled, if at the receipt of the shipping costs email there is a change of mind due to costing.

INTERNATIONAL DUTIES & TAXES:

All prices on trainmania.co.nz includes GST. International deliveries may be subject to Customs duties and/or taxes depending on the value of the order. Payment of any duties/taxes is the responsibility of the customer. TrainMania and its suppliers accept no liability for any duties or taxes due upon the orders arrival into the customer's country. Each country has its own customs levy level so please be aware of this when placing international orders.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER:

all orders from TrainMania will be dispatched with fully tracked shipping. Tracking details will be provided via email to the customer after the order has been placed. We will never send an item without Tracked Shipping.
